LITIGATION LAW CLERK

Job Description

If you are energetic, curious and excited by the opportunity to practice alongside senior litigators, this is your opportunity! The role is one where you will be matched with a senior civil and commercial litigator and become integrated with their practice in an assistive role.

Required Skills

  • Preparing, assembling and organizing pleadings, document briefs and affidavits of documents
  • Assisting with the preparation of motions and trial briefs
  • Cataloguing files and correspondence in physical and electronic format
  • Organizing and maintaining calendars for key dates and meetings
  • Conducting searches as required
  • Transcribing digital dictation

Desired requirements include:

  • Minimum of three to five (3-5) years litigation experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge and experience with PC Law, Primafact, MS Word, Lexis Nexis or Westlaw
  • Proficiency in typing and file organization
